Sammy's Cilantro Lime Rice

We harvested the cilantro the kiddos planted and made some delicious rice. Our preschooler mixed it up and did most of it on his own! This was a great way to get our kids involved in the kitchen.

First, we grew our herbs and when they were large enough, we harvested! It was pretty cool to watch the little ones plant and grow their gardens.

the ingredients:
  • 2-3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 bunch of cilantro (chopped)
  • Juice of two limes
  • Pinch of lime zest
  • 2-3 tablespoons cumin
  • 1-2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons sea salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey

You can measure everything out and let your little one pour and mix it all up, or let them do taste tests as they add the ingredients. It is fresh and yummy!

ENJOY!!
