Healthier Candy Apples

This Halloween, we enjoyed super sweet and "healthier" candy apples!


The candy coating was a concoction I made with what we had available... it's a healthier alternative to caramel.


Candy Dip
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Toppings
  • crushed pretzels
  • chopped cinnamon nuts
  • yogurt chips
  • crushed graham crackers
  • raisins


We made apple slices, and trimmed the sharp edges off of the skewers (with scissors, just snip the sharp point)... this made it toddler friendly!
